Connect a domain you own
Point a domain from GoDaddy, Namecheap, Hostinger or any other provider at your Dunea site.
Already bought a domain somewhere else, such as GoDaddy, Namecheap, Hostinger, BigRock or Cloudflare? You can point it at your Dunea site. You need a paid plan, and the site must be published first.
Before you start: www or no www?
You can connect www.yourdomain.com or the bare yourdomain.com. The bare version is called the root domain, and many providers do not let you point it the way Dunea needs.
The setup that works everywhere
Connect www.yourdomain.com in Dunea. Then, at your domain provider, turn on forwarding from yourdomain.com to https://www.yourdomain.com. Visitors who type either one end up on your site.
Step by step
Open Domains in your project
In the project, open the tools and choose Domains.
Type your domain
Enter it in Your domain, for example www.greenleafcafe.in. Dunea shows the record to add.
Add the record at your domain provider
Sign in where you bought the domain, open its DNS settings, and add:

Use the first row for www. Use the second only if you are connecting the root domain and your provider supports it. If there is already a record with the same name, edit it or delete it first; two records with the same name will stop this working.
Press Connect Domain
Back in Dunea, press Connect Domain. The status changes to Verifying.
Wait for Connected
Dunea checks your records and sets up SSL, the padlock in the browser, for you. It only shows Connected once your site really loads on the domain. This usually takes a few minutes and can take up to 48 hours. You do not need to keep the page open.
Notes for popular providers
Menus change over time, but the record you add is always the same. Look for a section called DNS, DNS Management, Manage DNS or Zone editor.
GoDaddy
Go to My Products, find your domain and open DNS. Edit the existing www CNAME so it points to sites.dunea.app. GoDaddy does not allow this kind of record on the root domain, so connect www and use GoDaddy's Forwarding to send the root domain to it.
Namecheap
Open Domain List, press Manage next to your domain, then open Advanced DNS. Add a CNAME record with host www. For the root domain, Namecheap offers an ALIAS record with host @.
Hostinger
Open Domains, choose your domain and go to DNS / Nameservers. Add a CNAME with name www. For the root domain, connect www and set up a redirect from the root domain.
BigRock
Open your domain's DNS Management and add a CNAME record for www. Use domain forwarding for the root domain.
Cloudflare
Open your domain, then DNS, then Records. Add a CNAME for www or @; Cloudflare supports both. Set the proxy status to DNS only (the grey cloud), not Proxied, or the connection and SSL may not verify.
